Meeting of the Parish Council – Minutes

 

An extra ordinary meeting of the above Council was held on Thursday 22nd April 2021, via ZOOM, commencing at 7.00pm.

Apologies were received from Cllr Maidment, Cllr Pennington and Cllr Trull.

Planning

4.04.21EM Planning – For the Council to REVIEW and COMMENT on planning applications received before the meeting.

4.1.04.21EM P21/01982/F 4 High Street Wickwar South Gloucestershire GL12 8NE: Erection of single storey rear porch. Erection of out-building to form lean-to WC/garden shed and reinstatement of garden wall (Retrospective).

It was proposed, seconded and RESOLVED to submit a neutral response and make the following comment. Wickwar Parish Council queries the use of brick on the lower portion of this extension when the main building is rendered.

4.2.04.21EM P21/01982/LB 4 High Street Wickwar South Gloucestershire GL12 8NE: Application to retain the works carried out to erect a single storey rear porch. Erection of out-building to form of lean-to WC/ garden shed and reinstatement of garden wall.

Requests for financial assistance

5.04.21EM To CONSIDER the outstanding elements of the expression of interest for Community Infrastructure Levy funding from Wickwar Environmental Action Group, and additional information submitted. (£2,560).

It was proposed, seconded and RESOLVED to grant Wickwar Environmental Action Group £2060 CIL funding for the following:

Sleepers & soil for the Community planting & accessibility improvement project – £830
Flower planting by VE Day bench – £50
Community Sensory/ Herb garden – £1,180. (CIL).

The remaining £500 for the project in the Buthay will be considered once additional research to establish who, if anyone, owns the land has been undertaken by WEAG.

Finance

6.04.21EM To APPROVE accounts for payment. (These are listed in the attached payment schedule).

It was proposed, seconded and RESOLVED to approve the accounts for payment listed.
