A meeting of the above Council’s Staffing Committee was held on Tuesday 3rd January 2023 at Wickwar Town Hall, High Street, Wickwar, commencing at 8pm.

2.1.23 To AGREE whether the minutes of the Staffing Committee meeting held on 13th January 2022 should be signed as an accurate record of the meeting (circulated
The minutes were agreed as an accurate record and were duly signed by the Chairman
3.1.23 To determine which items, if any, of the Agenda should be taken with the public excluded.
As no members of the public were in attendance, it was RESOLVED that the meeting did not need to go into private session.
4.1.23 To RECEIVE and APPROVE the Clerk’s appraisal dated 1st December 2022
The clerk’s completed appraisal form was circulated and the contents duly noted. The Chairman thanked the clerk for her hard work during her first year in post and for getting started with minimal handover time.
5.1.23 To NOTE the contents of the NALC pay agreement and back pay due to the clerk (see agenda report)
The contents of the pay agreement and back pay figures were noted and agreed. Councillors resolved to consider a pay scale increase for the clerk, having completed one year’s service, to be placed onto the agenda for the next full council meeting.
