A meeting of the trustees of King George’s Field Wickwar was held on Wednesday 10th January, at the Town Hall commencing at 8.30pm

Minutes
The minutes from the last meeting on the 5th of July 2023 were signed as an accurate record of the meeting

Finance
1.1 Trustees to note the proposed budget for the 2024/25 financial year.
Proposed budget for the Council and separate section for KGV was noted and approved

Items for consideration and decision
2.1 To agree the charge to be made to Wickwar Wanderers football club for use of the pavilion and pitches for the 2022/23 season

The clerk presented calculations for the expenses incurred during the season including the pavilion electricity and water plus grass cutting and pitch maintenance:

Goal mouth reseeding and weed and feed summer 2022 £575
2 grass cuts September 2022 £150
2 grass cuts October 2022 £150
Rates £171.52
Water £34.17 include 50%
Electricity £357.39 include 50%
Grand total £1,242.30

It was proposed, seconded and AGREED to charge Wickwar Wanderers football club the sum of £1,100 with the KGV trust absorbing some of the costs.

3.1 To receive and update on the pavilion refurbishment/extension project
Building work has begun following the appointment of contractors Chappell & Dix, the successful planning application and the receipt of the capital element of the s106 monies from South Gloucestershire Council.

To RESOLVE the date for the next meeting of King George’s Field Wickwar
There being no further business the next meeting was set for Wednesday the 3rd of July at 8.30pm and the meeting was closed at 9.00pm.
