Revised master plan for proposed development east of Inglestone Road

The pre-application public consultation on the proposed development east of Inglestone Road Wickwar has now closed and the developers, Crest Nicholson, have revised their master plan for the site.  The revised plan, which includes a reduction in the number of houses to 130, can be viewed on their website Crest Nicholson / TFA – Inglestone Rd, Wickwar (inglestoneroadwickwar.co.uk)

Please note that an outline planning application for the proposed development has not yet been submitted to South Gloucestershire Council. It is expected that this will be submitted later in February. Members of the public and the Parish Council will be invited to submit their formal comments to South Gloucestershire Council at that point. 

What next?

UPDATE: CANCELLED – please note that due to very difficult and unforeseen circumstances this meeting has been cancelled. Councillors hope to reschedule the meeting and will inform parishioners of the new date in due course.

Crest Nicholson will attend a specially-called extra meeting of the Parish Council on Wednesday 10th February @ 7pm, to present the new master plan and answer questions. All members of the public are invited to attend and observe the meeting, which will take place via Zoom (maximum attendees 500). To manage the public question section of  the meeting Parish and Ward Councillors, and two representatives of the Wickwar Residents Action Group, will be invited to ask questions on behalf of the public.

If you have a question that you would like to put to the developers, and which has not been addressed in the FAQ section of their website, you can do so by sending it to your Councillors via the contact page by 9th February 2021.
