Sodbury Road overnight partial closure from 8th November 2021 for 3 nights

The length of the B4060 Sodbury Road which extends from south of the junction with Frith Lane to the junction with Amberley Way, will be temporarily closed to vehicles, pedal cycles and equestrians overnight for 3 nights from Monday 8th November 2021 between the hours of 7pm and 6am. 

The closure is to allow for the installation of two speed tables along the Sodbury Road. The speed tables are required to facilitate safe access to and from the Saxon Gate estate.

PLEASE NOTE that the four speed tables being installed DO NOT form part of the traffic calming measures proposed for Wickwar High Street (including further speed tables) which were consulted on in Spring 2021 (Consultation on traffic management scheme for Wickwar High Street: 21st April – 15th May 2021 – Wickwar Parish Council). The report on this consultation has yet to be published.
