South Glos Council’s Active Travel team are holding the Saxon Gate, Wickwar Active Travel Roadshow event on Saturday 5th September from 10am until 2pm at the entrance to Gulwell Drive (GL12 8FN).
At this event, the Travel Roadshow team will be present, highlighting up-to-date travel information, providing personalised route planning, and offering maps and promotional materials.
Dr Bike will also be present, where an experienced mechanic will provide free-of-charge safety checks and carry out most bike repairs on-the-spot. There is no need to book this service, please just turn up on the day.
This is a brilliant opportunity to learn more about active and sustainable travel within the village and the surrounding area.
