New Wickwar ‘Nature & Remembrance Trail Maps’ ready for Remembrance Weekend

Wickwar environmental action group (WEAG) is delighted to launch two new walking trail maps (a long and a short route) which cleverly capture new and old points of interest in our 10 square miles of countryside. They have been launched to coincide with Remembrance Weekend 2020, and are suitable for all ages and abilities. The maps have kindly been produced  for WEAG by Andrea Wheal of Inglestone Design – Garden & Landscape Design.

As we enter ‘Lockdown 2.0’ why not take the opportunity to walk the trail with your household, support bubble, or with one other person, as is allowed under government rules.

The trail maps can be downloaded here:

Anyone completing the trail this Saturday 7th November, can claim a free bug hotel from No. 40 High Street. Simply knock on the door between 11:00am and 4:00pm . Social distancing applies.
