Wickwar Parish Council has been approached by the developer Crest Nicholson this week. They have informed us that they plan to submit an application to South Gloucestershire Council to build up to 150 houses on land off Inglestone Road, next to Alexander Hosea Primary School.
As part of the pre-application process Crest Nicholson will be consulting the local community between 10th December 2020 and 22nd January 2021 (dates may be subject to change). Flyers will be delivered and a website will be launched imminently by the developer, so please look out for these. The Parish Council will share this information on its own website, the Wickwar Village Forum Facebook group and on the noticeboard outside the Town Hall, along with any other information or updates that we receive.
It is expected that the developers will submit a formal planning application for the site, in around February next year. Once an application has been submitted, the Parish Council will be consulted by South Gloucestershire Council, and will be inviting comments from all residents. Residents may also submit comments themselves via the South Gloucestershire Council planning portal.
