Parishioners may be interested to know that a planning application has been put to South Glos Council for a 5G mobile phone mast to be installed on the verge of Sodbury Road opposite the youth club. The mast will be 18 metres in height and be fitted along with several cabinets along the grass verge.
Whilst accepting that the mobile phone signal within the village could be improved, the Parish Council has put forward alternative sites but the recommendations were not accepted.
