From today, 29th March 2021, Covid-19 restrictions have been eased to allow outdoor gatherings (including in private gardens) of either 6 people (the Rule of 6) or 2 households, making it easier for friends and families to meet outside.
The King George V Playing Field and Play Area are ideal spots to meet up safely. Please remember to keep yourselves and others safe by continuing to follow social distancing guidelines and sanitising your hands regularly. We expect the field to become quite busy over the coming months, so if you find that litter bins are full, please try another one (there are plenty) or take your litter home with you. Thank you for helping to keep our public open spaces clean and safe.
Some organised groups and businesses are allowed to meet outside in greater numbers. If your group/ business would like to meet at the King George V Playing Field or the Play Area, please contact the Clerk to confirm permission. Contact – Wickwar Parish Council
