Wickwar Parish Community Governance Review Consultation – Should Wickwar have more Parish Councillors?

From South Gloucestershire Council:

Should Wickwar have more Parish Councillors?

Refurbished Town Hall clock faceSouth Gloucestershire Council is carrying out a review of the way decisions are made on local issues in your area and wants to hear your views. It is proposed to increase the number of Councillors representing Wickwar Parish by two so that in future there would be nine Parish Councillors. This would allow for effective and convenient local governance, enable a better balance of work across Councillors and reflect the increase in the number of residents living in the parish because of recent and planned housing development. To respond to the consultation, look out for the consultation leaflet which will be delivered to every household or visit the South Gloucestershire Council consultation website. The deadline for responses is Friday 14th January 2022.
