ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 (AS AMENDED)
SECTION 14 (2)
Notice is hereby given that the South Gloucestershire Council in pursuance of the
provisions contained within the above Act will for a period of up to 5 Days commencing
on 25th November 2024 prohibit *ANY Vehicles, Pedestrians, Cyclists, Equestrians
• Proceeding along B4060 Station Road, Wickwar – from its junction with B4509
The Downs extending to its junction with Turnpike Gate
• Proceeding along B4060 High Street, Wickwar – from its junction with B4509
The Downs Extending to its junction with Inglestone Road
• Proceeding along B4509 The Downs, Wickwar – from its junction with B4060
extending to its junction with Westend Road
The above restrictions are necessary because traffic signal loop cutting works are being
executed on or near the carriageway consequent upon which is the need to avoid danger
to road users, and the operatives engaged upon the works and serious damage to the road.
*These works are anticipated to occupy the highway on 25/11/24 – 26/11/24 between 20:00 – 06:00 only.
