Wickwar Parish Council are very pleased and proud to announce a Royal visit to the village on Tuesday 4th April at 4pm by HRH The Princess Royal to visit the Town Hall and see our very rare clock, which we had repaired and refurbished last year for The Queens Platinum Jubilee.
The Parish Council has been asked to follow a strict protocol while the Princess is here so the public will be outside for the duration of her visit but we would very much welcome any villagers who would like to come in after the visit to feel free to do so and have a look around and see some old photos of the Village and clock and have a cup of tea and perhaps even some cake.
Please note the Police have asked that there be no parking on the High Street outside the Town Hall and opposite, between 9am and 5pm on April 4th.
