As part of the ‘Orchard for Pollinators’ Project the Forest of Avon Trust are running a programme of orchard maintenance workshops and volunteer days across Bristol, Bath and South Glou. With the aim of bringing orchards into active management to improve the habitat for local wildlife and communities.

Come and join us for a workday in the orchard sowing wildflower seeds and planting spring bulbs. The day will involved preparing areas of ground for oversowing and planting native spring bulbs thoughout the orchard.
All Health and Safety provison will be covered in safety briefing at the start of the session.
No skills or expertise required, all training, tools and PPE are provided. Please wear sturdy footwear and suitable outdoor clothing. I strongly advise wearing long trousers as we will be working in tall grass were ticks could be present
Bring a packed lunch and plenty of water.
